Maisch Dolphin 6"Surfboard Fin
The dolphin outline has been used ever since the 60's when George Greenough took his observations of the tail of the Blue Fin Tuna and applied them to fins for his kneeboards. It is the classic, and the 6" is ideal for many boards, especially 2+1 setups on longboards. It is also ideal for many smaller retro, magic carpet and mini-mal boards in the 6'-7'6" range.
The small tip gives ease of entry and exit form the turn. The wide base gives hold and drive.
Maisch are a small family-run business, on the South Coast of KZN, South Africa, which was started by Peter Maisch in 1966. Since 1976 their Factory has been situated on a small holding amongst the rolling hills of the County Alexandria, Umzumbe.
