Xcel's all-new Drylock rash vests feature WRF 6oz 4-way stretch fabric. What does this mean? Well it's simple, normal lycra rash vests will protect against rub, but have basically no thermal properties at all. As this Water Repellant Fibre (WRF) vest repels water (it just rolls off) it will lock in more warmth, stay lighter weight, and is more effective if used on it's own in a hot climate.
The vest is SPF 50+ rated and protects against skin damage and cancer. The fit is engineered for comfort, and the sleeves have been cut to maximise sun protection. Also has a boardshorts loop and stretch binding on sleeves and elastic on the hem.
