Xcel Long Sleeved Hooded Polypro Rash Vest
This hooded, long sleeved polypro (micro fleece) rash vest will boost the warmth of any wetsuit dramatically. It's a great way to boost up for cold snaps and the deep winter without shelling out for a hooded wetsuit.
The body is 7 oz thermal polypro micro fleece fabric, 4 way stretch for comfort, and the sleeves have thumb loops to make it easy to get your wetuit on over the top.
The 2mm hood is a quality affair. It features Thermocarbon lining (recycled fibers with bamboo charcoal) for warmth and comfort. The double neck dam fits under and then over your wetsuit so you get a great seal. The texture skin outer blocks wind and cold, the thick peak sheds water after duck-diving (and keeps off the rain). The hood seal is smoothskin and a there is a cord and cinch so you can adjust it as tight as you like. The chin piece adjusts so you can wear it inside the hood or over your chin as you prefer.
