I haven't used this yet but i'm sure it will be fine for the car keys when I go kayaking or to the beach.

I tried this pouch to see if it really was water proof by putting a piece of paper inside and submerging it in a bowl of water.
Brilliant. Will have no hesitation using this when I go to the beach.

I’ve been looking for a way to carry my car key when I’m swimming. This works really well. It is small enough that it isn’t uncomfortable and keeps my key completely dry. Very happy.
Fantastic little pouch. Completely waterproof and clear plastic front means you can open car door with frozen fingers without needing to take key out of pouch.
Lanyard is a great touch - easy to pop the pouch inside wetsuit. Thanks very much.
bit fiddly to open with cold fingers. no leaks so far, just hope the fabric of the pouch doesn't split as looks a bit delicate at each side.
