The board features a concave shape with channels that allows you to sit tight in barrels or pocket yet release quicker than directional fins so that your arm does not get ripped up and sucked over with the lip. The hand strap keeps your hand in tight yet allows you to alter weight distribution for ultimate manoeuvrability and gaining speed. I have tried it only once and therefore cannot comment on its suitability but if looks great and feels good. Looking forward to trying it out more. I ordered the wrong size but my board fits ok and it was great value for money.
